Kazera Global raises £500,000 in AIM placing and subscription

Kazera Global plc (AIM: KZG) has completed a £500,000 fundraising exercise via a placing and subscription, raising around 25 million new ordinary shares at an issue price of 2 pence each. The offering represents a 2.6% premium over the closing mid-market price of 1.95 pence per share on September 2, the final trading day before the capital access window began. The company split the proceeds into two components: approximately £250,000 from a placing, conducted via an accelerated bookbuild by Zeus as sole broker, and another £250,000 from a subscription round, each raising around 12.5 million shares. Trading in KZG’s shares has been suspended on AIM during the bookbuild period, with resumption expected once the fundraising concludes and resolutions are passed at a general meeting on September 21 at 10:00 a.m. The net proceeds will be allocated to bolster the balance sheet, fund existing investments, and explore opportunities in critical minerals, resources, and energy sectors. Additionally, a potential investor indicated interest in a further subscription of around £220,000, though no binding commitment has been secured. Director and consultant settlements, including Geoffrey Eyre’s accrued fees and a £62,000 debt to a supplier, will also be settled via the new share issuance. Completion of the fundraising is anticipated on or around September 22, contingent on the passing of necessary resolutions.
