Harbour Energy sets exchange rate for interim dividend

Harbour Energy said on Tuesday it has set the exchange rate for its interim dividend at 0.7855 British pounds per U.S. dollar.

The rate will apply to the conversion of the dividend, payable to shareholders in pounds, into dollars. The interim dividend of 3.5 pence per share is scheduled to be paid on May 17 to shareholders on record as of April 19.

The pound’s recent strength against the dollar has reduced the dollar value of the dividend compared with prior periods. Harbour Energy did not disclose the total payout amount or the number of shareholders eligible for the payment.
