Google’s Gemini app hits 1 billion monthly users

Google’s artificial intelligence assistant, Gemini, has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, the company said on Thursday.
The milestone, disclosed in a blog post, underscores the rapid adoption of the AI tool since its launch in December 2023. Gemini integrates with Google’s ecosystem, including Search, YouTube and Gmail, to provide conversational and task-based assistance.
