Glenmark’s U.S. unit settles antitrust case with Humana for $15.3 million

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc. USA has agreed to a $15.3 million settlement to resolve an antitrust lawsuit filed by Humana Inc., the U.S. health insurer announced on Wednesday.

The lawsuit, filed in 2022, alleged that Glenmark’s U.S. subsidiary engaged in anticompetitive practices related to the pricing and distribution of generic drugs, which Humana claimed inflated costs for its Medicare Advantage plans.
