Fusion Fuel’s UAE LPG subsidiary expands fleet with new tanker

Fusion Fuel Green PLC’s subsidiary, Al Shola Gas Distribution L.L.C., has expanded its fleet in the United Arab Emirates by acquiring a new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bobtail tanker with a capacity of approximately 17,800 liters. The addition brings the company’s total fleet to 53 vehicles, including three LPG bobtails and 10 LPG cylinder trucks. A fourth LPG bobtail, designed for city-center operations with a smaller chassis and a 7,000-liter capacity, is currently under production. Once operational, this tanker will further bolster Al Shola Gas’s capacity for bulk LPG distribution across Dubai and beyond. The subsidiary anticipates reaching a target delivery volume of around 200 metric tons of LPG per month within four to six months of the new tanker entering service. At this level, the company expects to generate an annual recurring revenue of approximately AED 6 million ($1.6 million), with monthly revenue projections ranging from AED 400,000 to AED 500,000 ($109,000 to $136,000). The expansion follows the company’s acquisition of a Petroleum Products Permit from the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, which authorizes activities including the transport, sale, and storage of LPG via tankers. The permitting process took over eight months to complete, aligning with Dubai’s Executive Council Resolution No. 85 of 2025, which mandates permits for all entities involved in petroleum product trading in the emirate.
