First Majestic Silver Corp. on September 9 reported high-grade drill intersections from its San Dimas silver-gold mine in Durango, Mexico, as part of an ongoing resource-conversion and resource-addition program.
The company said it has completed approximately 89,000 meters of drilling year to date against a full-year plan of 117,000 meters. Results were announced from multiple veins and systems across the San Dimas district.
In the Sinaloa-Elia vein complex, drill hole ELI26X-10 returned 2,604 grams per tonne silver and 43.08 grams per tonne gold over 0.88 meters true width. At El Cristo, hole LUZ26X-02 intercepted 2,625 g/t silver and 58.25 g/t gold over 1.30 meters true width.
Initial drilling at the Convención target tested a reinterpreted hanging-wall structure roughly 100 meters north of the Jessica vein. Five significant intercepts were identified across seven holes, with hole SJE26X-08 returning 251 g/t silver and 2.56 g/t gold over 2.57 meters true width.
In the Coronado-Carmen Escobosa vein system within the West Block, hole CMNE26X-02 intersected 588 g/t silver and 6.05 g/t gold over 1.58 meters true width.
First Majestic operates four producing underground mines in Mexico and owns the Jerritt Canyon gold mine in Nevada.
The company did not provide updated reserve or resource figures alongside the drill results.
