Jupiter Wealth, an independent wealth manager headquartered in Dubai, confirmed the opening of a new office in Geneva. The move expands the firm’s presence in the Swiss private‑banking market, which remains a key hub for high‑net‑worth clients.

The Swiss operation will be led by Diego Wuergler, who has been appointed both Head of Switzerland and Chief Investment Officer. Wuergler, 50, previously spent almost two decades in advisory roles at Julius Bär, where he oversaw 130 relationship managers across 17 locations, and also held a senior position at UBS Wealth Management.

In a statement to finews, Wuergler said the role offers a challenge outside his traditional banking background and aligns with his entrepreneurial interests. He will focus on building a team of experienced banking professionals in Switzerland, with a Zurich office under consideration as a medium‑term option.

Jupiter Wealth was founded in 2022 by Ravi Venkataraju, who serves as Group CEO. The firm employs roughly 85 staff and manages assets of around $2 billion, primarily for ultra‑wealthy individuals and family offices. In June, the company added a Singapore office to its network, and it already operates a branch in India.

The Geneva office is intended to provide private‑banking services without being a bank itself, emphasizing a non‑product‑driven approach. Wuergler plans to develop a “House View” investment model that will be communicated to clients through presentations, studies and direct contact, while allowing advisors flexibility to meet individual client needs.

Jupiter Wealth’s expansion reflects a strategy of geographic diversification, linking its Dubai base with outposts in Singapore, India and now Switzerland. The firm aims to leverage its expertise in wealth management to attract affluent clients seeking a global perspective.

The new Swiss office marks the firm’s first physical footprint in Europe and underscores Geneva’s continued attractiveness as a private‑banking centre.
