Dish TV India sets Sept. 29 AGM, approves Q1 results
Indian direct-to-home broadcaster schedules annual general meeting and reports first-quarter earnings. Results approved by board.

Dish TV India Ltd. said on Thursday it will hold its annual general meeting on Sept. 29, while the board has approved the company’s financial results for the quarter ended June 30.
The broadcaster, which operates under the DTH brand, did not disclose detailed financial figures in its exchange filing. The approval of the quarterly results follows standard corporate governance procedures ahead of the AGM, where shareholders will vote on routine matters including the reappointment of directors and auditors.
Dish TV India is a subsidiary of the Zee Entertainment Enterprises group, which has been restructuring its operations amid regulatory and market challenges. The company’s shares are listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange, where they have traded under pressure in recent quarters amid competitive pressures in India’s pay-TV sector.
The AGM will include approval of the audited financial statements for the quarter, along with other statutory business. No extraordinary resolutions or major corporate actions were indicated in the notice.
The timing of the AGM comes as Zee and Dish TV navigate a broader strategic realignment following the failed merger talks between Zee and Sony Pictures Networks India earlier this year. Industry observers continue to monitor the competitive landscape, including the rise of over-the-top streaming platforms and consolidation in India’s broadcasting sector.
Dish TV India did not respond to requests for comment beyond the regulatory filing.
