CoreWeave, Super Micro shares rise on AI infrastructure demand

Shares of CoreWeave Inc. and Super Micro Computer Inc. advanced on Monday as investors bet on continued demand for AI infrastructure, following reports of expanding data center capacity and server orders.

CoreWeave, a cloud services provider specializing in AI workloads, saw its stock climb over 5% in early trading, while Super Micro Computer, which manufactures high-performance servers, rose nearly 3%. The gains reflected broader optimism in the AI supply chain, where companies are ramping up investments to meet the computational needs of generative AI models.

Industry analysts noted that recent orders from hyperscale cloud providers and enterprise clients signaled a prolonged cycle of AI infrastructure buildout. Super Micro, in particular, has been highlighted as a key beneficiary of this trend, with its servers powering AI training and inference workloads across multiple sectors.

The rally extended a multi-week uptrend for both companies, which have become proxy plays for the AI boom amid broader tech sector volatility. CoreWeave’s recent expansion of its GPU clusters and Super Micro’s partnerships with Nvidia have further reinforced investor confidence in their growth prospects.

While the broader market remained cautious amid macroeconomic uncertainty, the outperformance of AI-focused hardware stocks underscored the sector’s resilience. Analysts warned, however, that valuations remained stretched, leaving room for volatility if demand fails to meet elevated expectations.

For now, the upward momentum in CoreWeave and Super Micro shares reflected growing conviction that AI infrastructure spending would remain a priority for corporations and governments alike.
