Circle Internet Financial has expanded the availability of its native USD Coin (USDC) to the OKX X Layer blockchain ecosystem. The rollout provides users on X Layer with direct access to Circle-issued USDC and crosschain transfer capabilities via the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP).
The integration forms part of Circle's broader strategy to expand the presence of its stablecoin across major blockchain networks, enhancing liquidity and interoperability for decentralized finance applications operating within the OKX ecosystem.
