Abeona Director Mark Alvino Sells US$87,966 in Company Stock

Mark Alvino, a director at Abeona Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ABEO), sold 15,000 common shares on Sept. 1 for a total of US$87,966, at a price range of US$5.80 to US$5.9250 per share, according to a regulatory filing reported by InvestingPro.

Following the transaction, Alvino retains direct ownership of 62,065 common shares in the gene therapy company.

The sale comes after Abeona reported second-quarter 2026 results that fell short of analyst expectations. Total revenue reached US$11.4 million, below Wall Street's consensus estimate of US$12.24 million. The company posted a net loss of US$20.2 million, or US$0.35 per share.

Revenue from its core ZEVASKYN therapy rose 31% compared with the first quarter, the company said. Abeona also noted it continues to expand its commercial launch and treatment center network.

Shares of Abeona Therapeutics were trading at US$5.98 on Sept. 2, having fallen following the earnings announcement. The stock is up approximately 13% year to date but remains down about 13% over the trailing twelve months.
