Rokmaster Resources Corp. (TSXV: RKR; OTCQB: RKMSF; FSE: 1RR1) said it has satisfied the initial requirements under its option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Cristal copper project in northern Chile. The deal was accepted by the TSX Venture Exchange, according to a filing on Wednesday.
Under the terms announced July 27, 2026, Rokmaster will issue 7,000,000 common shares and pay $70,000 in cash to optionor Patrick James Burns.
The Cristal property sits in a region of northern Chile host to 49 porphyry copper deposits organized into 25 clusters, including the world-class Escondida copper mine. Magnetic data over the site reveal a circular anomaly roughly three kilometers in diameter centered on the property.
Dr. Thomas A. Henricksen, who authored the 2018 NI 43-101 technical report for Cristal, noted that the magnetic pattern shows a weak central high surrounded by a magnetic low — a signature he said may reflect alteration zoning associated with a buried porphyry copper system.
Historical work by BHP and other companies identified undrilled targets at Cristal, which Rokmaster now plans to refine through geophysical surveys before launching a diamond drill program.
Rokmaster, which also operates porphyry projects in Canada, did not disclose a timeline for the upcoming exploration work.
