André Näpflin joins Inventx’s banking leadership

Swiss financial IT firm Inventx has appointed André Näpflin as head of its banking division, effective November 1, 2026, following a phased transition that begins on October 1. The move also elevates him to the company’s executive leadership team. Näpflin, who has been with Inventx for two years, previously served as Cluster Lead for Banking Transformation, overseeing projects including the finnova.neo platform—a digital banking solution developed in collaboration with Swiss banks. His new role will focus on expanding Inventx’s banking business through advancements in hybrid cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data platforms tailored for financial institutions. Näpflin brings extensive experience in the sector: he led IT business services and projects at the Swiss Kantonalbank for over a decade, prior to joining Migros Bank as a business analyst. His background aligns closely with Inventx’s strategic priorities, including leveraging existing customer relationships and addressing industry-specific transformation needs. Inventx, which employs over 500 staff across Chur, Zürich Airport, St. Gallen, and Bern, specializes in IT and digitalization services for Swiss financial and insurance firms. The company’s client base includes four Finma-designated systemically important institutions, underscoring its critical role in the Swiss financial ecosystem. CEO Emanuele Diquattro emphasized Näpflin’s deep understanding of banking challenges and transformation opportunities, positioning him to drive growth among both current and prospective clients.
