Charles F. Willis IV, executive chairman, director and 10% shareholder of Willis Lease Finance Corp. (NASDAQ: WLFC), sold 46,500 common shares between August 20 and August 24 under a pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on May 18, 2026.
The transactions totaled approximately $2.54 million at prices ranging from $53.98 to $55.23 per share. Willis retains direct ownership of 2,519,143 shares, while his wife Charlotte Montressor Willis holds 40,680 shares and CFW Partners holds 6,402,445 shares. An additional 1,752 shares are held in the Wilder Grace Willis 2016 Trust.
WLFC’s stock last traded at $55.15, leaving the company with a market capitalization of about $1.15 billion. Shares have declined roughly 19% over the past six months despite a 26% year-over-year increase in assets under management to $4.4 billion. Q2 revenue rose 9% to $194 million, exceeding analyst expectations of $178 million, though adjusted earnings per share of $1.31 fell short of the $3.26 forecast.
The company also disclosed plans to acquire three commercial buildings in Coconut Creek, Florida for $118 million to consolidate corporate headquarters, spare parts operations, maintenance services and engine storage. Freedom Broker upgraded WLFC to Buy from Hold on stronger engine sales, setting a price target of $71.00, down from $75.33.
