Miami‑based fintech Félix announced a $200 million Series C financing on Tuesday. The round was co‑led by Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst. Andreessen Horowitz contributed $87 million in equity, while General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund provided $113 million of debt financing. Additional participants included QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and Endeavor Catalyst.
Founded in 2020 by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, Félix offers an AI‑driven remittance service through WhatsApp, targeting Latino immigrants in the United States. The startup has processed more than $8 billion in transactions and reported revenue growth of over 2.5 times in the past year. Félix connects users in the U.S. with families in 11 Latin American markets, among them Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Peru.
The company said the new capital will be used to broaden its product suite and enter additional Latin American markets. Félix has now raised close to $300 million in total funding. Although it did not disclose a post‑money valuation, the firm noted its valuation has tripled since its $75 million Series B round in 2025.
Fintech venture activity remains robust, with global fintech startups raising $28.6 billion in the first half of 2026, a 22.7 % increase from the same period a year earlier, according to Crunchbase data.
