Total Wireless, a Verizon Value brand, will offer Western Union money transfer, bill payment and money order services in over 2,000 U.S. stores nationwide, the companies announced Tuesday. The rollout begins immediately in select locations, with additional stores added through December 2026.
Eligible customers on Total Wireless’ MAX 5G BYO, MAX 5G and ALL ACCESS plans will receive one fee-free Western Union money transfer per month. All other services will be charged at Western Union’s standard rates. Customers can access transfers, payments and money orders via Western Union’s digital platforms or in-store at participating Total Wireless locations.
Western Union’s global network supports transfers to more than 200 countries and territories, with over 360,000 payout locations worldwide. The partnership expands access to financial services in communities served by Total Wireless stores, according to David Kim, president of Verizon Value. Jesse Mory, Western Union’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships, said the collaboration meets customers where they shop while reinforcing the company’s presence in key markets.
Total Wireless launched as the first U.S. wireless carrier to offer monthly money transfers at no additional cost in June, prior to this broader expansion.
