Sweden’s producer prices rose 0.1% in July from June, maintaining the same modest monthly increase recorded in the prior month, according to official data released on Wednesday.
The annual gain in producer prices slowed to 6.4% in July, down from a 7.4% increase in June. The figures reflect persistent but moderating cost pressures in the Nordic economy’s industrial sector.
The data, published by Sweden’s statistics office, follows a period of elevated producer price inflation amid supply chain adjustments and energy cost volatility. The July reading suggests a stabilization in input costs, though year-over-year growth remains elevated compared to pre-pandemic norms.
