Stellantis N.V. appointed Arnaud Belloni as chief executive officer of its Fiat, Abarth and Lancia brands, effective immediately. Belloni will also serve as chief marketing officer for Europe, reporting to Emanuele Cappellano, Stellantis’ chief operating officer for Greater Europe.
The move follows Olivier François’ departure from the CEO roles after more than 30 years with Stellantis. François, who previously led Chrysler, Fiat, Abarth, DS Automobiles and Lancia, will assist Belloni through mid-October to ensure a smooth transition before transitioning to a strategic advisory role within the company.
Belloni, who rejoins Stellantis after a prior 16-year tenure, brings extensive experience in marketing and brand leadership across European markets. His prior roles included chief marketing officer for Fiat and Lancia, general manager of Lancia France, and vice president of marketing for the Asia-Pacific region. From 2015 to 2020, he served as global chief marketing officer for Citroën, and from November 2020 to May 2023, he held the position of global chief marketing officer at Groupe Renault, later transitioning to global branding director for all Renault brands.
Cappellano highlighted Belloni’s global perspective and deep brand expertise, stating that his return would strengthen Stellantis’ marketing strategy in Europe and shape the future trajectory of Fiat, Abarth and Lancia.
The appointments underscore Stellantis’ focus on consolidating leadership under executives with extensive experience in European automotive branding and marketing.
