SPX Technologies buys FIS Water for $410M in water management unit

SPX Technologies Inc. (NYSE: SPXC) has completed the acquisition of FIS Water, LLC, a water management and control solutions provider, for approximately $410 million in cash. The deal consolidates FIS Water’s operations under SPX’s HVAC segment, integrating it into the Cooling platform. FIS Water, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Fresno, California, employs around 120 staff and operates brands including LAKOS, Puroflux, Superior, VAF, and VSI. Its valve and actuator portfolio complements SPX’s recently acquired Neptronic business, targeting commercial and industrial cooling systems used in data centers and other facilities.
