Sportradar Group AG’s shares advanced 6% on Thursday after the company announced an expanded data and services agreement with Polymarket, a prediction market platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The partnership, which covers approximately 300,000 matches annually, extends Sportradar’s premium data, streaming, and integrity services to more than 20 global sports leagues and competitions. The expanded collaboration includes live odds, exclusive audiovisual content with streaming rights for the ATP Tour, Bundesliga, and Euroleague Basketball, as well as fan engagement tools, marketing services, and integrity monitoring via Sportradar’s UFDS AI and Integrity Exchange.
Sportradar Chief Executive Officer Carsten Koerl said the deal solidifies the company’s role as a foundational infrastructure provider for prediction markets, describing the sector as a compelling adjacent growth opportunity. The agreement builds on Sportradar’s existing relationship with Polymarket under U.S. regulatory oversight, which classifies Polymarket as a designated contract market under the Commodity Exchange Act.
The collaboration encompasses major leagues and tournaments, including the Chinese Basketball Association, National Basketball League, Tennis Grand Slams, UTR Pro events, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
