Southland Holdings, a U.S.-based specialty contractor, has finalized a financing arrangement with sureties to address near-term liquidity needs.
The company, which operates in sectors including industrial, power and renewable energy construction, secured the deal to stabilize cash flow amid project delays and execution challenges. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Surety bonds, typically used to guarantee performance on construction contracts, are now being leveraged to provide liquidity support. The arrangement follows reports of financial strain linked to supply chain disruptions and labor shortages in the construction industry.
Southland Holdings has not provided an update on its operational outlook or revised financial guidance. The company’s shares are not publicly traded.
