Solana Company (NASDAQ: HSDT) has disclosed its voting positions on three governance proposals scheduled for an on-chain ballot opening Saturday, August 23.
The company said it will vote in favor of SGP-0001, which proposes the Solana Constitution as the foundation for a new governance framework. The proposal introduces stake-weighted voting for staking participants, with an override mechanism allowing underlying SOL holders to reverse operator decisions.
Solana Company will oppose SGP-0002, which seeks to accelerate the disinflation schedule beyond the network’s fixed terminal inflation rate of 1.5%. The company cited timing concerns, noting that the existing path already reaches the 1.5% target. It added that it would support renewed discussion on disinflation only after sustained net inflows into SOL are observed.
The firm also plans to vote against SGP-0003, which proposes variable transaction fees tied to network load. While acknowledging that flat fees may not always reflect resource costs, Solana Company expressed concerns that premature implementation could shift estimation risks to users and operators. It indicated openness to revisiting a revised design that maintains a deterministic fee floor.
The governance proposals are part of ongoing efforts to refine Solana’s economic and operational policies as the network evolves.
