Sisram Medical reported a 3.6% year-over-year increase in first-half revenue to $171.4 million, driven by strong growth in Asia-Pacific markets that offset declines in North America and margin compression. The company's shares fell 1.62% to $2.13 in after-hours trading, nearing a 52-week low of $2.10.
Adjusted net profit plunged 57.9% to $5.0 million, while gross profit declined to $97.2 million from $99.3 million in the prior-year period. Gross profit margin contracted by 3.3 percentage points to 56.7%, and adjusted net profit margin fell 4.3 points to 2.9%. Operating expenses rose 8.5% year-over-year.
Asia-Pacific revenue surged 19.1% to $78.4 million, accounting for 45.7% of total revenue. North America revenue declined 21.6% to $44.4 million, while Europe grew 12.1% to $26.7 million and the Middle East and Africa rose 20.9% to $16.8 million.
Medical aesthetics products, primarily energy-based devices, contributed 78.4% of revenue at $134.3 million, down 2.5% year-over-year. The injectables segment surged 54.2% to $22.2 million, representing 12.9% of total revenue. Within medical aesthetics, the Harmony, Soprano, and Accent families generated 60% of category revenue.
DAXXIFY, the company's neuromodulator formulation, achieved cumulative shipments of over 30,000 vials across nearly 500 clinics in 28 Chinese provinces as of June 30, with end-market pricing maintained at RMB 6,800. The Miyun manufacturing facility in Beijing, which began operations in June, supports local production of the Alma Rejuve device. The company also launched the Black Gold Photofacial treatment in Mainland China in July.
Sisram Medical holds 51 registered patents and 17 pending applications globally, with a technology portfolio spanning lasers, IPL, radio frequency, ultrasound, and plasma across more than 100 applicators. RAZIEL Therapeutics' JS-001/RZL-012, targeting fat reduction, completed patient enrollment in its Phase III clinical trial during the period.
Chairman Lior Dayan emphasized the company's shift toward integrated solutions across categories and markets, while CEO Eyal Ben David highlighted investments required to expand the injectables business in China and launch the company's first pharmaceutical product.
