SHAPE Australia Corporation Ltd (ASX: SHA) posted FY26 revenue of $1.24 billion, up 30% from $956.9 million in FY25, as the diversified construction and fitout group accelerated expansion beyond traditional commercial offices.
Net profit after tax rose 50% to $31.7 million, while EBITDA increased 53% to $50.1 million. Earnings per share grew 49% to 38.1 cents, and the board declared a 42% higher dividend at 32.0 cents per share. The group’s secured backlog expanded 28% to $628.4 million, with a pipeline of $4.8 billion, up 20% year-over-year.
Revenue diversification deepened in FY26, with non-office projects accounting for 57% of total income compared with 40% in FY25. The commercial office segment still contributed 43% of revenue, but high-growth areas included education, which more than doubled to $261.4 million, and data centers, where revenue surged to $109.1 million from $0.5 million in FY25.
SHAPE’s data center business secured $119.7 million in new work, including a 20MW project for DigiCo and an early contractor involvement agreement for an 88MW facility. The data center pipeline now stands at approximately $907 million, with over $800 million tied to DigiCo’s Phase 2 expansion. Aged care revenue grew more than tenfold to $33.7 million, while hotels and retail also posted strong gains.
Workforce expansion accompanied the growth, with headcount rising 30% to over 890 employees across 20 national locations. Female participation reached 28% of the workforce, and 55% of cadet hires in FY26 were women. Safety metrics improved, with the Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate declining to 5.2 from 5.7.
Two acquisitions supported the strategy: Arden Fitout and Maintenance, completed on December 31, 2025, added 75+ employees and expertise in facilities maintenance and multi-site retail fitouts; Australian Professional Shopfitters (APS), acquired on July 1, 2026, brought 45+ staff focused on design and installation for retail rollouts. Modular construction revenue rose to $74.1 million, supported by an expanded Victorian facility targeting annual throughput exceeding $50 million.
SHAPE’s shares traded near the top of their 52-week range at $6.79, up 66% over the prior 12 months. The group maintained an operating cash flow of $52.0 million and held $136 million in cash and marketable securities at year-end.
