Schouw & Co. shares rise on strong earnings outlook
Danish industrial group lifts full-year guidance after better-than-expected second-quarter results, driving shares higher.

Shares of Danish industrial conglomerate Schouw & Co. advanced on Friday after the company raised its full-year earnings outlook, citing stronger-than-anticipated performance in its second quarter.
The group reported adjusted operating profit of 428 million Danish kroner ($61.5 million) for the three months ended June 30, up 12% from the same period last year and exceeding analyst expectations. Revenue rose 8% to 3.1 billion kroner, driven by robust demand across its construction and engineering divisions.
Schouw & Co. now expects full-year adjusted operating profit to reach between 1.7 billion and 1.8 billion kroner, an increase from its prior guidance of 1.5 billion to 1.6 billion kroner. The upward revision reflects sustained momentum in its core markets, particularly in Northern Europe, where infrastructure spending remains elevated.
Analysts at Danske Bank maintained a buy rating on Schouw & Co., citing the company’s resilient earnings trajectory and strong cash flow generation. The stock has gained roughly 8% since the start of July, outperforming the broader Danish market.
The company’s shares were last trading 4.5% higher at 1,245 Danish kroner, extending gains after the earnings update.
