ReElement Technologies Corporation announced Monday the hiring of seven professionals to strengthen operations at its Marion, Indiana refining facility. The additions come as the company advances commercial-scale production of germanium and rare earth elements using a modular, chromatography-based refining platform.
The Marion facility, a portfolio company of American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC), has commissioned its first commercial-scale germanium production column and secured air permits for all four planned initial production lines. The modular design allows capacity to scale with customer specifications and feedstock availability.
The new team members include Bill Baken as Shift Operations Manager, bringing over 20 years of large-scale manufacturing experience; Dee Cooper as Human Resources Manager, focusing on workforce development; and Jacob Miller as Area Lead, with more than 10 years of U.S. Navy Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department experience. Vedat Ozsever joins as Marion Plant Engineering Manager, holding a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky and 20 years of process engineering experience in coal mining.
Glen Stewart has been appointed Shift Operations Manager with 22 years of U.S. Navy operational experience, while Derrick Roper Jr. will serve as Business Analyst, supporting business development efforts in Africa and Europe. Eddie Tsao returns to ReElement as Senior Research Scientist, having completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University.
Kirk Taylor, Chief Financial Officer of ReElement Technologies, said the hires bring expertise from large-scale industrial operations, engineering, and international business development to the Marion facility.
