Quantum Cyber N.V. announced on Monday that it has acquired a Lambda Hyperplane 8‑A100 AI compute cluster, which will be installed at the company’s manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The cluster is powered by eight NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs.
The hardware will be used to train AI models for autonomous target detection and autolock across aerial and ground targets, generate synthetic data to reduce live flight testing requirements, and deploy via the Quantum Station battlefield command‑and‑control platform and the Swarm Operating System that enables coordinated drone swarms.
Chief Executive Officer David Lazar stated that owning the compute resources, rather than renting them, is necessary to build the future battlefield where information clarity and speed determine outcomes. The acquisition follows the company’s June 23, 2026 unveiling of Quantum Station and aligns with Executive Order 14307 issued by the Trump Administration, which designates American drone dominance a national security and industrial priority.
The move comes as the administration seeks roughly $55 billion for drone and autonomous warfare programs in the fiscal year 2027 defense budget, signaling continued federal investment in the sector.
