Protolabs Inc. said Monday it named Sam Ramahi chief operations officer, effective Aug. 31, as the industrial manufacturer strengthens its global operational leadership.
Ramahi brings more than 25 years of executive experience in global industrial and manufacturing organizations, including roles at SIG Group, Jacuzzi Group, nVent, Eaton, Cooper Industries, Honeywell, and GE Healthcare. His appointment follows Protolabs' recent leadership transition, with Suresh Krishna serving as president and chief executive officer.
At Protolabs, Ramahi will oversee global operations, supply chain, quality, sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives. He will report directly to Krishna, who retains ultimate oversight of operations.
Prior to joining Protolabs, Ramahi served as vice president of North America operations at SIG Group, where he led a 1,300-person organization across five manufacturing facilities supporting $700 million in annual revenue. Earlier, he held the role of chief operating officer at Jacuzzi Group.
Krishna said Ramahi’s background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and customer-focused operations will support Protolabs’ efforts to scale capabilities, enhance operational performance, and expand into production while creating value for customers and shareholders.
