Point32Health, a nonprofit health organization overseeing Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, has appointed Todd Walthall to its board of directors. The appointment follows the organization’s service of nearly 2 million members, headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts. Walthall brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in health care, insurance, and financial services to the role.
Walthall previously served as chief growth officer at Optum Health and led payer markets at Optum Insight. He also held executive vice president roles at UnitedHealth Group, where he managed enterprise growth, and at Blue Shield of California, overseeing operations, technology, and strategic initiatives across commercial, individual, and government lines. His prior roles at American Express and USAA further underscore his expertise in the industry.
Currently, Walthall serves as an independent board director at AllianceBernstein and as a trustee of the Positive Coaching Alliance. His appointment reflects Point32Health’s commitment to leveraging seasoned executive talent to guide its strategic direction.
