Pizza Hut launched a U.S. football-season campaign featuring Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and the brand’s mascot, Hutty, the company said on Tuesday.
The initiative includes a sweepstakes open through Oct. 24, where participants can upload videos of themselves saying the word “hut” to enter. Three winners will each receive 1 million Hut Rewards points, valued at $10,800 apiece. The sweepstakes is hosted at pizzahut.com/gamedaystartswithhut.
The campaign coincides with new menu offers, including a large three-topping pizza for $10 and a Triple Treat Box Gameday Edition starting at $21.99. A two-liter bottle of Pepsi can be added for $2. Select medium and large pizzas will be sold in limited-edition boxes with cutouts that form field goal posts; placing two boxes together creates a football-field design.
Pizza Hut, a unit of Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM), operates nearly 20,000 restaurants in more than 110 markets globally. The offers are available for a limited time at participating locations, with pricing varying by market.
Melissa Friebe, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut U.S., said the partnership with Allen aligns with the brand’s gameday positioning.
