Nuwellis Inc. reported higher revenue for the second quarter of 2026, while narrowing its net loss year-over-year, according to the company’s earnings call transcript.
The medical device manufacturer disclosed revenue of $12.4 million for Q2 2026, up from $10.8 million in the same period of 2025. The company also reduced its net loss to $1.7 million from $2.3 million in the prior-year quarter, reflecting improved operational efficiency and cost management.
Nuwellis attributed the revenue increase to stronger demand for its core product portfolio, including its proprietary medical device systems. The company highlighted ongoing commercialization efforts and expanded market penetration as key drivers of growth.
Chief Executive Officer John McGuire noted that the results underscore the company’s progress in scaling operations and optimizing its business model. "We are encouraged by the sequential improvement in our financial performance and remain focused on executing our long-term strategy," McGuire said.
The company did not provide updated guidance for the full year, stating that it will continue to evaluate market conditions and operational priorities.
