London-based artificial intelligence data center operator Nscale plans to raise as much as $3 billion in a U.S. initial public offering, with a potential listing as early as September.
The company is working with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan on the deal, according to sources familiar with the matter. Nscale has secured approximately $51 billion in total contracted revenue ahead of the offering, highlighting strong demand for AI computing infrastructure.
Nscale is developing data centers in Norway and West Virginia, with plans to expand its power capacity by 10 gigawatts for AI workloads. The company already operates or has under contract 831 megawatts of power capacity.
The IPO comes amid a broader industry push by companies investing tens of billions of dollars in chips and equipment to lease processing power to AI clients. The surge in demand for AI data centers has accelerated fundraising and public listings in the sector as operators seek to scale infrastructure to meet growing computational needs.
