Nestlé announced that it will sell its mainstream vitamin, supplement and mineral business to Boston‑based private‑equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for a total consideration of $1 billion.
The divested portfolio consists of seven brands, among them the well‑known Nature's Bounty and Sisu labels. While the business is primarily based in the United States, the brands also have a presence in Canada and China.
In the most recent fiscal year the supplement segment generated $1.2 billion in revenue, underscoring its scale within Nestlé's broader food and beverage operations.
The transaction is conditional on obtaining the required regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027.
The sale forms part of Nestlé's ongoing portfolio‑streamlining strategy, aimed at concentrating resources on its core categories and improving overall profitability.
