Navios Maritime Partners LP (NMM) is set to release second-quarter results on Thursday before the market open, with analysts projecting earnings per unit of $4.31, a 28.7% increase from the $3.35 reported in the first quarter. Revenue is forecast at $361.32 million, up 1.2% from the prior quarter and 10.3% year-over-year.
All four analysts covering the stock maintain a "strong buy" rating, with a consensus price target of $92.75, implying a 12.1% upside from the current price of $82.72. The 52-week trading range spans $42.90 to $83.49.
The company operates a diversified fleet of 173 vessels across dry bulk, tanker, and container segments, with a total fleet value of $9.7 billion and an average vessel age of 9.1 years. Navios Maritime’s revenue backlog stands at a record $4.1 billion, extending through 2037.
Shipping rates have remained resilient in multiple segments, supported by geopolitical disruptions in the Red Sea and Strait of Hormuz. Dry bulk rates have defied typical August seasonality, contributing to the improved outlook. In the first quarter, the company reported a 59.5% earnings surprise, with net income of $106.3 million and EBITDA of $212.7 million.
Management aims to reduce net loan-to-value to between 20% and 25%, down from 28.3% at the end of the first quarter, while funding a $1.40 billion newbuilding program concurrently.
