Nativo Resources Plc (LON: NTVO) reported operational progress across its Peruvian assets for the six months ended June 30, 2026, highlighting a JORC-compliant exploration target at Tesoro, secured funding, and the advancement of its La Patona processing plant.
Mining contractor Kuboc mobilized to the Bonanza gold mine in February under a framework agreement, undertaking preparatory works including the widening of shafts and galleries. Surface sampling conducted in March confirmed high-grade gold mineralization, the company said in a statement issued Monday.
At the La Patona Gold Ore Processing Plant, Nativo signed contracts in February with the facility's owner to manage, design, complete and operate the partially constructed plant. Front-End Engineering Design and a Basis of Design were completed during the reporting period. Following the period end, project finance was secured with Chancery Royalty Limited to advance Phase 1 production, subject to finalizing documentation.
In May 2026, Nativo published a JORC-compliant Exploration Target for Tesoro estimating approximately 6,686 to 195,434 contained ounces of gold across four vein systems. The company also agreed a £2.1 million funding package with YA II PN Ltd at the same time.
Gross proceeds raised through share issues during the six-month period totaled approximately £312,000. Additional funds of £683,000 were secured after the period end, alongside a £600,000 equity subscription agreement also signed following the close of the reporting window.
