Collaboration aims to evaluate Natera’s MRD technology in early-stage oncology studies. Kupando to lead trial operations in Germany.

Natera has entered into a partnership with Kupando to conduct a Phase 1 cancer trial in Germany, focusing on the evaluation of Natera’s minimal residual disease (MRD) technology.
The collaboration will see Kupando oversee trial operations, including site selection, patient recruitment, and regulatory compliance. The Phase 1 study is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of Natera’s MRD platform in early-stage oncology patients.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Natera’s MRD technology is intended to detect cancer recurrence at an early stage, potentially improving patient outcomes and treatment strategies.
Kupando, a clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in oncology, will manage the trial’s execution in Germany. The partnership underscores Natera’s expansion into European markets amid growing demand for precision oncology solutions.
