Parsons wins $40 million Army contract for electromagnetic warfare
Defense contractor Parsons secures a $40 million U.S. Army contract to develop electromagnetic warfare systems, expanding its role in military modernization efforts.

Parsons Corporation said on Friday it won a $40 million contract from the U.S. Army to develop electromagnetic warfare systems.
The contract, awarded under the Army’s Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) program, covers engineering, development, and sustainment services for electromagnetic spectrum operations. Parsons will provide systems designed to detect, disrupt, and defeat electronic threats, supporting the Army’s broader modernization initiatives.
The award follows Parsons’ recent expansion in defense electronics, including prior contracts for electronic warfare and cybersecurity solutions. The company has emphasized its role in enabling military forces to maintain dominance in contested electromagnetic environments.
A Parsons spokesperson declined to comment on the contract’s duration or additional terms. The company’s shares were not immediately impacted by the announcement as trading had closed for the week.
The contract underscores the Pentagon’s increased focus on electromagnetic spectrum dominance amid rising geopolitical tensions and the proliferation of electronic warfare capabilities globally.
