Mobilezone Holdings AG has increased its 2026 revenue target for its mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) segment following stronger-than-anticipated first-half performance, the Swiss telecoms group said on Monday.
The company did not disclose the new revenue target figure but stated that the upward revision reflects sustained subscriber growth and improved average revenue per user (ARPU) in its MVNO operations. Mobilezone operates MVNO services under brands including Aldi Mobile, M-Budget Mobile and Coop Mobile in Switzerland.
First-half revenue for the MVNO segment rose 6.7% year-on-year to CHF 112 million, driven by a 4.2% increase in subscriber numbers and a 2.3% rise in ARPU. The group’s total revenue across all segments reached CHF 258 million in the six months to June 30, up 5.1% from the same period last year.
Mobilezone attributed the MVNO growth to continued demand for low-cost mobile plans and the integration of new customers from partner retail networks. The company did not provide a breakdown of profitability metrics for the segment.
The revised 2026 target aligns with Mobilezone’s broader strategy to expand its MVNO footprint in Switzerland while maintaining cost discipline. The group did not specify whether the adjustment includes organic growth, acquisitions or both.
Shares in Mobilezone were trading 1.8% higher at CHF 142.50 in Zurich on Monday, extending gains from Friday’s close.
