Shares of MM Forgings Ltd. rose on Tuesday after the company upgraded its revenue and profit outlook for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, citing strong demand and operational improvements.
The Indian forging company, which supplies components to the automotive and industrial sectors, now expects Q1 FY2026 revenue to grow by 15-20% year-on-year, up from its prior guidance of 10-15%. Profit before tax is forecast to increase by 20-25%, compared with the earlier estimate of 15-20%. The company attributed the upward revision to sustained demand from key customers and efficiency gains in its manufacturing processes.
MM Forgings did not provide specific revenue or profit figures for the quarter but emphasized that the improved outlook reflects confidence in its order book and operational execution. The company’s shares, which trade on the National Stock Exchange of India, were up 3.5% in early trading, extending gains from the previous session.
Analysts noted that the upgrade signals resilience in the automotive supply chain, a sector that has faced intermittent disruptions in recent quarters. The company’s focus on high-margin products and cost optimization has also supported investor confidence, they added.
MM Forgings, part of the Murugappa Group, has been expanding its capacity to meet rising demand, particularly in the commercial vehicle and off-highway segments. The company’s order book remains healthy, with a backlog of orders supporting the optimistic outlook for the quarter ahead.
