Marvell Technology Group (MRVL) led mega-cap decliners, falling 5.57% to $237.04, extending a recent retreat that followed broader chip-sector weakness. The company, which supplies data infrastructure and networking semiconductors, has faced softer demand signals from hyperscale and enterprise customers in recent quarters.
In large-cap trading, financial services firm Freedom (FRHC) dropped 7.88%, while artificial intelligence diagnostics developer Tempus AI (TEM) fell 7.83%. Online brokerage Futu Holdings (FUTU) declined 6.65%, reflecting continued volatility in China-linked financial technology shares amid regulatory scrutiny and macro headwinds.
Mid-cap decliners included memory chip manufacturer MUU (MUU), down 10.78%, and autonomous vehicle developer Pony.ai (PONY), which slid 8.38%. Geothermal energy firm Fervo Energy (FRVO) fell 7.39%, while biopharma company Galena Biopharma (SLS) dropped 7.28%.
Small-cap losses were more pronounced, with Regenxbio (RGNX) leading declines at 23.13%, followed by metals processor TMS International (TMS) at 15.12% and AI infrastructure firm Aiai Holdings (AIAI) at 18.2%. Gains were concentrated in biotech, where Alvotech (ALVO) surged 17.83% after Bank of America initiated coverage with a buy rating, citing its biosimilar platform growth potential. ASTX NYSE (ASTX) jumped 43.93%, while RAM (RAM) edged down 0.59%.
