Logitech's shares slipped to 79.28 francs on Tuesday, extending a multi-week decline that has erased roughly 21% from the May peak near 100 francs. The stock, long recognized as the most volatile in the Swiss Market Index, has traced four peaks and troughs since late 2023 within a 103-to-57-franc range.
The latest leg down follows July quarterly results that flagged supply chain constraints and raised questions about near-term profitability. Management has accelerated research and development spending to drive future revenue growth, particularly in posture correction, voice recognition and gaming hardware. JPMorgan estimates these investments will take nine to twelve months to translate into measurable returns, forecasting only modest growth in operating profit and setting a price target of 83 francs versus the current 79 francs with a 'Neutral' rating.
UBS similarly expects the earnings leverage to reaccelerate only in the second quarter of 2027, once the current R&D outlays begin to bear fruit. The bank’s target of 80 francs reflects near-term earnings headwinds from those investments. Consensus among analysts tracked by Bloomberg places the average price target at 89 francs.
