Life Time Group has launched Life Time Social, a membership-based community program designed to foster social connections among fitness enthusiasts beyond traditional gym activities.
The program will debut with invitation-only events in New York City on September 12-13, featuring a Sky Deck party, movement and recovery sessions, and a poolside gathering. Subsequent events will include monthly social, wellness and entertainment experiences, such as rooftop gatherings and local cultural collaborations, across Life Time’s locations in New York, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Southern California.
Applications for the Life Time Social membership will open in mid-September via the company’s app, with a waitlist available for interested participants. The initiative targets both couples and singles seeking fitness-oriented social engagement.
Life Time operates more than 195 athletic country clubs in the U.S. and Canada and employs over 50,000 team members. Founder, Chairman and CEO Bahram Akradi noted that member requests for additional connection opportunities beyond workouts prompted the program’s development.
The first New York event will serve as a pilot, with broader rollout planned pending initial feedback.
