Jyske Bank A/S said it has signed a binding agreement to acquire FP Kapital A/S, which operates under the brand Formuepleje, for approximately 40 billion Danish crowns.
The acquisition will grant Jyske Bank full ownership of Formuepleje, a wealth manager based in Aarhus and Copenhagen with roughly 14,000 investors and nearly 100 employees. Formuepleje oversees about 40 billion crowns in assets under management.
Jyske Bank said the deal aims to combine Formuepleje’s advisory model and client base with its own platform, scale and capital strength. The transaction also expands Jyske Bank’s product offerings in alternative investments such as real estate and private equity, while giving Formuepleje clients access to a broader suite of banking and wealth management services.
Completion is subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. The deal is expected to generate annual revenue of about 200 million crowns in fees and commissions once fully integrated.
Jyske Bank maintained its 2026 outlook, projecting earnings per share between 71 and 85 crowns and net profit after tax of 4.3 to 5.1 billion crowns. The bank also estimated integration costs at around 100 million crowns and net capital consumption near 0.1% of its risk-weighted exposure. Positive earnings per share impact is anticipated starting in 2028.
Lars Mørch, chief executive of Jyske Bank, said the acquisition leverages Formuepleje’s expertise and relationships while providing access to the bank’s broader capabilities.
