Jyske Bank A/S has entered a binding agreement to acquire FP Kapital A/S, the Danish wealth manager operating under the Formuepleje brand, for 100% of the company’s shares.
The acquisition will bring approximately DKK 40 billion in assets under management and a client base of around 14,000 investors to Jyske Bank’s wealth management division. Formuepleje employs close to 100 people and operates from offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
Jyske Bank estimates the deal will generate annual net fee income slightly above DKK 0.2 billion and is expected to be earnings per share accretive from 2028. Integration costs are projected at about DKK 0.1 billion, with net capital consumption anticipated to remain below 0.1% of Jyske Bank’s risk exposure amount.
The bank has maintained its 2026 earnings per share guidance in the range of DKK 71 to DKK 85, translating to a net profit of DKK 4.3 billion to DKK 5.1 billion. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Lars Mørch, CEO of Jyske Bank, said the acquisition aims to leverage Formuepleje’s advisory model, customer relationships and employee expertise. Mørch added that Formuepleje will gain access to Jyske Bank’s asset and wealth management platform, enabling expansion into alternative investments such as real estate and private equity.
