JPMorgan Chase reported a 25% increase in its Bitcoin exchange-traded fund position and expanded its holdings in Ether ETFs during the second quarter, according to a recent regulatory filing.
The disclosures show the bank more than quadrupled its position in Ether exchange-traded products during the three-month period, reflecting heightened institutional exposure to digital asset investment vehicles.
The regulatory filing outlines the bank's tactical allocation adjustments across prominent spot cryptocurrency funds as market participation evolves following the regulatory approval of U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs.
