JetBlue Airways will inaugurate its second BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport on August 27 at 5:00 a.m. ET, marking a further expansion of the airline’s premium airport hospitality offering in its second-largest focus city.
The 12,000-square-foot facility in Terminal C will feature dining spaces, a bar, work areas, and a game room. Food and beverage options will include locally inspired dishes such as North Shore roast beef sliders, crab and shrimp rolls, beverages from George Howell Coffee, and New England craft beers.
Access to the BlueHouse lounge will be complimentary for customers traveling on JetBlue’s Mint or Mint Flex fares starting Thursday, with guests charged $39 each. Previously, complimentary access was limited to Mosaic 4 members and JetBlue Premier cardholders, who will continue to receive complimentary entry along with one guest.
Customers with Mosaic 1–3 status or other cardholders may purchase one-time passes ranging from $59 to $79 per person, subject to availability. Access requires presentation of a same-day boarding pass and is permitted up to three hours before departure.
JetBlue operates more than 133 daily departures from Boston to 68 destinations during the summer season. The airline also plans to introduce a new Mint Base fare in the coming weeks, which will exclude BlueHouse access and advanced seat selection while incurring fees for changes and cancellations.
Marty St. George, JetBlue’s president, said the new lounge reflects the airline’s focus on hospitality, stating, "BlueHouse Boston brings our customers a new way to experience the thoughtful hospitality and elevated amenities they've come to expect from JetBlue."
