Jefferies raised its price target on home-furnishings retailer Williams-Sonoma to $275 from $260 while maintaining a buy rating, citing sustained margin performance.
The firm highlighted Williams-Sonoma’s average mid-single-digit comparable sales growth and high-teens EBIT margins over the last seven quarters, even as the broader U.S. housing market remained weak. Williams-Sonoma reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings per share of $2.10, beating the $2.06 consensus estimate, and revenue of $1.96 billion against a $1.92 billion forecast.
The stock last traded at $237.43, down 1.27% on the day but up 33% year-to-date. The 52-week high stands at $254.89, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 26.9. Gross margin reached 46%, while return on equity stood at 54%.
Jefferies’ upgrade follows a period of consistent execution for Williams-Sonoma, which has navigated a challenging retail backdrop while maintaining profitability metrics at the upper end of industry ranges.
