Kamal Seyed Ghaffarian, director and significant shareholder of Intuitive Machines, Inc. (NASDAQ: LUNR), sold approximately 141,909 Class A common shares on August 24, 2026, for a total of $2.39 million under a pre-arranged trading plan adopted in December 2025.
The transactions were executed at weighted average prices between $16.61 and $17.68 per share, with the majority of shares sold at $16.86. Following the sale, Ghaffarian retains indirect ownership of 3,494,768 Class A shares through affiliated entities, including Ghaffarian Enterprises, LLC and GM Enterprises, LLC. The same day, 141,909 ordinary units of Intuitive Machines, LLC were redeemed, resulting in the automatic cancellation of an equal number of Class C shares.
Intuitive Machines’ stock closed at $16.11 on the date of the filings, down more than 10% over the prior week but still up 79% year-over-year. The company reported second-quarter revenue of $206 million, a 310% increase from the prior year, though adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $13.8 million. Earnings per share came in at negative $0.29, below the consensus estimate of negative $0.09.
Analysts have adjusted price targets following the results. Canaccord maintained a buy rating with a $39 target, while Cantor Fitzgerald reduced its target to $32. Stifel upgraded the stock to buy, citing the company’s order backlog of approximately $1.8 billion at the end of Q2. The company reaffirmed fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $900 million to $1 billion, with expectations for positive adjusted EBITDA.
