Innventure Inc. (NASDAQ: INV) outlined a series of cost reductions and strategic shifts, including a $3 million quarterly expense cut and plans to explore sale options for its AeroFlexx subsidiary. The industrial growth conglomerate based in Orlando, Florida, will reduce parent-level quarterly cash expenses—excluding debt service—from $7.5 million to $4.5 million following headcount and operational adjustments.
The company also terminated funding commitments to Refinity, with the unit no longer receiving support from Innventure’s balance sheet after the third quarter of 2026. Innventure will instead pursue independent financing for Refinity. Additionally, senior management and directors agreed to forfeit earnout shares tied to a 2023 agreement with DarkNX after the milestone-triggering booking was removed, a decision the board deemed appropriate under the circumstances.
Innventure is actively pursuing monetization alternatives for AeroFlexx, including a potential sale, while seeking outside capital to support the unit during the interim period. Financial advisors have been engaged to assist in the process. The company is also halting new company formation initiatives and parent-level research and development spending as part of broader cost-control measures.
Strategic financing options under review include debt and equity financing as well as asset monetization to address ongoing capital requirements. Innventure’s Accelsius unit, which operates in the two-phase direct-to-chip liquid cooling market, is positioned for potential adoption beginning in 2027. Market estimates project the segment’s value expanding from roughly $500 million in 2027 to approximately $3.8 billion by 2029.
