Innventure Inc. announced the appointment of Bruce Brown as independent chairman of the board, effective August 27, 2026, succeeding Michael Otworth. Brown, who has served as Lead Independent Director since November 2025, will lead the board at a time of strategic review and cost discipline.
The company also named Catriona Fallon as chair of the audit committee on August 11, 2026. Fallon joined the board in June 2026 and continues to serve on the compensation committee. Her appointment follows the board’s decision to strengthen independent oversight amid a broader review of funding and strategic alternatives for Innventure’s AeroFlexx business.
In a separate leadership change, Dr. William Grieco will assume the CEO role on September 1, 2026, one month ahead of schedule. He replaces Bill Haskell, who stepped down from both positions. Innventure has initiated a search for a new chief financial officer, though no timeline has been disclosed.
The board reduced its size to eight members after Suzanne Niemeyer resigned, effective immediately. Current independent directors include Michael Amalfitano, James O. Donnally, Fallon, Brown, and Elizabeth Williams. All board committees are composed entirely of independent directors.
Brown brings external board experience from Magnera Corporation and prior roles at Nokia Corporation and Medpace Holdings. Fallon’s background includes positions at Arlo Technologies, Palomar Holdings, Hitachi Vantara, Silver Spring Networks, and Marin Software.
